Swanirvar Bangladesh and A2I

A major  initiative has been undertaken for creating self-employment for learners and jobless youths through online outsourcing training all over the country. With the financial support of UNDP, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed at Prime Minister's Office between Support to Digital Bangladesh (A2I) Programme and Swanirvar Bangladesh on 4 April 2012.

National Project Director of Support to Digital Bangladesh Programme of Prime Minister's Office Md Nazrul Islam Khan and Chairman (Governing Body) of Swanirvar Bangladesh S M Al Husainy signed on behalf of the respective organisation.

Secretary General of Governing Body (Swanirvar Bangladesh) Barrister Aneek Rushd Haque, Director of IT and Communications (Swanirvar Bangladesh) Mr Khalid Noman Husainy and Director Administration Mr Akter Hossain Khan and high officials of the Prime Minister's Office were present.

At present, online outsourcing has been playing an important role in creating new self-employment through usage of information technology (IT).Swanirvar Bangladesh will impart training on outsourcing at all district, upazila and unions of the country. Already under the purview of MoU, Swanirvar Bangladesh and A2I are jointly organising and conducting trainings on online earning Nation wide.

Swanirvar Bangladesh will help resolve various problems to the youths who underwent outsourcing trainings, help create endless opurtunities by emphasising on UISCs and yeild a prosperous E- Generation. The programme can be followed and candidates can register for the training  through an Online Interactive site. Support to Digital Bangladesh (A2I) Programme and Swanirvar Bangladesh will help conduct training courses at zila, upazila and union level as well as in formulating new planning.

Only about two and a half years after winning the Independence through a disruptive war, rehabilitation assisted by massive UN relief operations, a grave misfortune struck Bangladesh due to devastating floods and loss of all crops in 1974. Severe food shortage and no food assistance being available from the international community, disastrous famine followed perishing hundreds of thousands of people. Undaunted, the Government resolved to achieve self reliance in food production starting the well known Swanirvar Movement through a Swanirvar Cell headed by a Special Secretary to the Government under the Ministry of Agriculture. Its main task was providing motivational leadership, implementation in the field spear headed by the Deputy Commissioners of the then 19 Districts of Bangladesh.
